Youth Advisor Program (YAP)
Louisa Christian Church recently developed the Youth Advisor Program. Below, you can read the details of what a Youth Advisor is and what they do. The current Youth Advisors are Eric B., Brandon P., David S., Amber W., and Daniel S.
Summary of essential job functions
1.Help Associate/Youth Minister develop quarterly youth activity calendar.
2.Serve as a positive, Christian role model for the rest of the church.
3.Nominate incoming Youth Advisors.
4.Help the Associate/Youth Minister set youth group goals, values, and mission.
5.Attend one church General Board meeting per year.
Additional information
- There will be 2 - 5 Youth Advisors at one time.
- Must be at least 13 and no older than 21 to be a Youth Advisor.
- The position requires a one year commitment (exceptions are made for special circumstances).
- Youth Advisors are nominated by the current Youth Advisors and selected by the Associate/Youth Minister.
- Youth Advisors will be replaced if suspended from school, convicted in juvenile court, fail to exhibit strong Christian values, and/or are removed by parents/guardians.
